Introduction
I am Harshitha, and I did not start my digital marketing journey path with a plan. Similar to most learners, I experienced confusion during the selection of a career. I did not have a definite idea of what I wanted to be and this uncertainty complicated my existence. Nevertheless, the same confusion later brought me to the realization of my passion and purpose.
My Educational Background
My higher secondary education was in Humanities. Then I enrolled in TTC (Teacher Training Course) which I believed could be the way I wanted to go. Yet, deep within my heart I was not really interested in that field.
I followed my degree in BA Sociology later. I was always confused about my future even when I was in my degree. I lacked clarity regarding the type of career I should pursue and this placed me in a stuttering point in my early digital marketing journey life.
The Phase of Confusion
Having finished my education I also experienced a period when I was unsure of my next step. There was an interval and I began to think more seriously about my life and profession at that time.
This step was not an easy one but this step was also a milestone in my digital marketing journey career. I understood that I should not pursue a path I did not enjoy but seek my interests and something that will genuinely make me excited.
Discovering Digital Marketing.
At this period I began researching various career choices on the YouTube and other online platforms. It was at that time that I encountered the concept of digital marketing.
I was interested in it a lot, particularly social media and the growth of businesses over the web. I wanted to know more about how people get to know about brands and how the online world operates. The interest gradually evolved into passion and this led to my entree in digital marketing journey.
Taking the First Step
I would later meet a friend who enrolled me in a course in digital marketing. I chose to make that step and begin to learn.
The practical knowledge that I acquired during this course includes:
Creating websites
Development of a personal portfolio.
Knowledge on SEO (Search Engine Optimization)
Getting acquainted with the operation of digital means and platforms.
It was a significant milestone in my digital marketing journey life and it provided me with a proper idea of my future.
Learning & Growth
I used tools such as Google Ads and other marketing sites as I went on learning. I began to be aware of how companies engage their viewers and online marketing policies.
I learned:
The way that businesses access their target audience.
The process of making and optimization of online advertisements.
The question is how to establish a good online presence.
Every single day of my digital marketing journey experience gave me confidence, knowledge and experience.

All those little steps and even mistakes made me acquire and become stronger. In my opinion the keys to success are consistency patience and a lifelong learning.
